First off, this is not to say all of the kids today are like this. Many of them have a good head on their shoulders.
It seems a lot of them just don't want to work. They just want to sit on Insta or TIk Tok all day and hope to get rich doing that. Slim chances as they are.
Even if they do work, they are Live on their Tik Tok, and hurry through serving customers or whatever so that they can get back to their live feed. Nothing interesting either. No talent. Just mindless, mundane nonsense.
Some of the Tik Tok videos are interesting or funny, but most of them are just annoying and filled with moron teenagers. It's all good. I still go on Tik Tok to view videos every now and then. But at least I'm not obsessed with it and making embarrassing, cringey videos.
Now there's a new trend among teens, they are trying to create a widescale boycott of their jobs until they raise standards, and wages substantially. I guess no need to get a post secondary education anymore or learn a valuable trade. Let's all work at Mcdonald's for $30 an hour while we make Tik Tok videos haha.
And another thing. Not every dissatisfied customer is a Karen or a Ken. Yes, there are many entitled, or racist morons that need to get put on blast. But that does NOT mean that every customer that is not happy, or loses their cool should be recorded and put on blast. These kids are out of control dude. They just don't know anything about customer service. It's easy to be kind, and helpful and personable to customer when they are friendly, but that does not mean you get snarky, or start recording a customer that is not happy. Even if they are rude. THAT is when customer service skills actually kick in! Or they are supposed to.
Especially when the customer is older than you. You don't start recording them or start calling them a boomer etc and mocking them. I was raised to respect my elders. I fail at times, but I try my best. If I worked with customers and give them a looooong leash as far as being upset and venting. That's the name of the game if you work in customer service. As long as they are not racist, or blatantly verbally abusive or threatening, you suck it up!
I don't know. It seems like kids today just want to fuck around on social media hoping to become stars. It doesn't matter if they are ugly, talentless and useless, they just think they should be rich and famous.
Anyways, the biggest thing is this whole catch a cop or Karen or Ken and in a bad situation and record them and put them on blast and have it go viral. Nevermind if you ruin their life. I get it if they are racist or wayyy out of line. Go ahead. Many of them deserve to get blasted and fired from their jobs etc. But not for every little thing. Not every dissatisfied customer is a Karen or Ken. Not every white person that complains or loses his/her temper is a Ken or Karen or entitled.
That's my daily dose of, ''YOU KNOW WHAT REALLY GRINDS MY GEAR'' Haha.
I'm out. Time to enjoy the weekend. Fucken ready for this! Get some fresh air then hit the clubs tonight. Nothing, and I mean nothing beats getting paid after a long two weeks of work at the office, grinding, and then getting a couple of days off to kick it.
BOOOOMMMM!!
